Verdict

Dartington has a penalty for his Navan maiden victory and was engaged in the 5.00 at Clonmel yesterday. Hope Des Blins, making his hurdling debut for new connections, gained a shock victory in a maiden here last month. There was no fluke about the victory and normal progress should see him competitive though HORS PISTE is the form pick despite all of her racing to date having been on testing ground. A very easy winner at Clonmel, she finished mid-division in the Dawn Run at Cheltenham before an excellent third behind stable companion Brandy Love in a Fairyhouse Grade 1. The remaining trio look as though they are playing for places.
