In depth

Verdict

Shandancer has had seven bumper runs and the nearest he's got is fourth so looks well exposed. Pahlavi ran well enough at Clonmel to suggest normal progress will see him in the mix while Maidenstreetprince should improve massively from last month's run at Ballinrobe. Cheerful Chap was a 125/1 chance on his debut at Fairyhouse though ran better than his odds suggested but Gordon Elliott's new recruit Footy's Bridge hasn't had much luck between the flags. UNCLE PHIL has an excellent pedigree and won't need to be a world-beater to make a successful debut for Willie Mullins.
