In depth

Verdict

Cradle Mountain makes a quick reappearance despite finishing a long way last in the Derrinstown Derby Trial at Leopardstown on Sunday. A maiden winner at Naas last month, he hated the heavy ground and was soon beaten so any more rain would hinder his chances. Bertie Le Belge looked a very bright prospect when completing a mid-summer double but couldn't quite make the transition to Group 3 and Listed company later. He obviously goes well fresh so the lack of a recent run shouldn't be a problem. POSTULATION's close second to Success Days at Cork looks a massive run after the subsequent exploits of the winner and Dermot Weld's charge has since shown his wellbeing with a battling victory at Dundalk. He can come out on top here as Nasution is having his first run since beaten twice in nurseries in October.
