Verdict
Sacrificial had been threatening to win a race before doing so on soft ground at Leopardstown and a mark of 87 for his handicap debut doesn't look excessive. Duca Valentinois had shown promise in his first season and made a very encouraging return over 7f at Leopardstown where he stayed on well. He was behind SWORDFIGHT on the same track in October and though David Wachman's charge hasn't run since, the yard is in good form and a successful reappearance looks on the cards. Pullman Brown beat tonight's rival Ring Presence at Tipperary before finding 1m2f stretching his stamina while the latter didn't act on the very heavy ground at Sligo. Daydor is a full brother to useful hurdler Mydor and has joined Tony Martin from France where he won a couple of minor races.
