Verdict

Watch Guard looked a potential winner when a good third at Kilbeggan but didn't show the expected improvement at Punchestown. Jamie Codd gets the ride on Jazz Toes after Peter Fahey's charge was well beaten at Roscommon and the stable should have a better chance with Free Nelson, who has Derek O'Connor on board. Patrick Mullins is booked for GIOVANNI CHANGE, a half-brother to four winners and handed the vote but Be My Hero is likely to be seen to better effect over obstacles.
