Winning hurdler Karl Der Grosse didn't show much in two starts over fences last year but better will be expected. WESTERN RUN was conceding 3lb to Streets Of Doyen at Galway and only just failed to get up after being eight lengths behind at the last. He can go one better though the four-year-old Busselton, placed in a Grade 1 hurdle at Leopardstown, made a very promising chasing debut behind Grand Bornand at Galway and looks a major threat. Goodbye Someday produced a fair run at Wexford but meets potentially useful opposition here.
