In depth

Verdict

Carrig Cottage won a bumper on heavy ground and ran very well on her chasing debut at Wexford before falling early at Kilbeggan. Dual point-to-point winner Our Girl Lucy was going well over hurdles before finding the step up in class at Galway too much but there's no reason why she shouldn't make a chaser. Sughera jumped well in the main on her chasing bow at Tramore and that will have brought her on while Ocean Bright made a promising debut over fences at Tramore, though that was over 2m6f and she looks a stayer in the making. JACKSONSLADY was better than these over hurdles having won at Listed level and has also been going well on the Flat. She couldn't quite match the pace of Glibin on her chasing debut at Listowel in June but the winner scored at the Galway Fesival and the form looks good enough for this.
