Verdict

It's hard to see past BISHOP'S LANE, who has returned from a spell between the flags in impressive style. He jumped poorly when well supported at Roscommon and finished a long way behind Western Promise but reversed the form in no uncertain terms at Tramore and with just a 7lb rise to contend with will take some beating. William Wordsworth is yet to reach a place in seven starts over fences so still looks high in the weights while it's over three years since Chasers Chance won over the C&D and he's still on the same mark. Macklycuddy has shown nothing in four starts over fences though did a bit better over hurdles at Sligo last time. Torremuelle began the year in winning form and is slowly dropping back to a fair mark.
