Johni Boxit won a similar race at Yarmouth when wearing a visor for the first time but the headgear didn't work a second time on this track. Takiah looked as though a race of this nature would be within his capabilities when placed here and at Nottingham and there must have been something amiss at Chepstow as he finished a long way last. MALANGEN has a nice pedigree but has quickly been dropped to this lowly level after looking very inexperienced at Nottingham. He could have a bit of scope, which is more than can be said for most of his rivals. Golden Guide led for a long way in a Redcar claimer but has had 10 runs and is well exposed.
