        Verdict

        Beryl The Petal was engaged in the 2.15 at Yarmouth yesterday so that result should be monitored. One Kiss was beaten a long way when runner-up at Chepstow but Pont Vert has shown up well in two decent contests at Newbury. Schnapps took a long time to warm up at Ripon and may need another furlong so it wouldn't be a surprise if one of the newcomers won this. GOLD ARROW is very speedily-bred and hails from a yard in superb form so she may be good enough as Gold At Midnight should prove better over further. Inaugurate is by first-season sire Garswood out of a mare who has produced nine winners so she's an obvious one to keep an eye on.
