A tricky opener in which Inquisitress is selected ahead of Baldovina and Dansimar. Running through these and Baldovina's form is solid in the context of this race and she comes here on the back of a fair Listed run in Italy. She is respected. Dansimar showed promise when third to the useful Yazamaan at Newmarket on her debut and should have more to come. Fashion Statement is well-bred and should improve on her Goodwood debut, while Gull Wing has the Fillies' Mile entry and could be interesting on her debut. Inquisitress also has the Fillies' Mile entry and showed plenty of promise on her debut and looks a leading player today. Millestan improved from run one to two to finish second at Yarmouth but the feeling is that she will need to improve again, while Peintre's Wonder and Starry Messenger rate as interesting newcomers. The well-bred Rose Of Petra will have to show more than she did on her debut, although that is possible, and the well-bred Wateera has a similar profile. Maybe this is a race to watch with an eye to the future, with the vote going to Inquisitress.
