Verdict
Most have been competing on the all-weather including CONFRERIE, who got up late to win at Lingfield and may well defy a 4lb rise. George Baker’s charge is preferred to Wolverhampton classified winner Deftera Lad on that form but Compass Point was beaten only a nose at Chelmsford and has to come into the reckoning. Jazz Hands is proving best at Southwell but Liam's Lass may finish closer with an apprentice’s 7lb allowance helping her cause.
