Verdict
A couple of these make their handicap debuts having won over today’s trip on their latest starts. Au Clair De Lune beat Dream With Me, who runs in the previous race, when scoring at Doncaster while A STAR ABOVE was successful at Thirsk having been gelded since last in action. There should plenty more to come from the latter with the Haggas yard in top form and he may just edge this. En Famille and Bealach step up in distance and are preferred to the more exposed Expensive Dirham while Atlantic Crossing could only manage fourth over today’s trip at Newmarket though drops down a grade.
