In depth

Verdict

It is interesting that Mark Johnston has taken this route with Boru Boru, after the Bluebird gelding ran away with a maiden, albeit a poor maiden at Carlisle. Oases will be more at home over this trip, having failed to stay when tried over further. At his best, he would be the one to beat. Ashtree Belle, a strong finisher over six-furlongs here on her latest effort, has a bit to find if she is to trouble Oases on these terms, while dual winner Firozi, has much more to do in this.
