Verdict
Ex Gratia is less than straightforward having failed to settle on the lead and jumped a path at Lingfield on her debut on Turf. She still finished runner-up and could go well again but HELLO ZABEEL (NAP) is preferred. The latter placed over track and trip on his first outing after wind surgery and there looks more to come from Kevin Ryan’s charge. Dashing Dick won here before disappointing when favourite at Newmarket while Kondratiev Wave’s best effort so far this year came over a longer trip.
