          Verdict

          We end the card with a very tricky apprentice handicap, that may fall to Fearby Cross, with Young Alex and Ask The Clerk just two of numerous dangers. Willie Musson's eight-year-old bounced back to form at Salisbury last time, beating Young Alex by a comfortable length. The selection is two pounds worse off this afternoon, but should be capable of confirming that form. Ask The Clerk has contested two better handicaps recently without much success, but his previous runners up spot behind Peruvian Style is decent enough form and he should take a hand in the finish. Of the remainder Snow Bunting and Little Englander have the form to make there mark here, but Fearby Cross won with a little in hand last time and is taken to follow up.
