Verdict
A tight race to call here with not much between many of the fancied rivals but the principals look to be Sol Music, Galapiat du Mesnil, and Cape Stormer and the vote goes to Galapiat du Mesnil. The selection has been in fair form of late and a reproduction of his latest second Unlimited Free would make him hard to beat. Sol Music would rate the main danger on his best form but he was a very disappointing favourite last time when let down by his jumping and he will need to improve in that department if he is to score. Cape Stormer was a fair fourth behind Red Brook Lad last time and this looks easier so he has definite place claims. Of the remainder Guignol du Cochet was a good second behind Phoenix Flyer last time and is sure to be suited by the step up in trip but for the winner we return to Galapiat du Mesnil.
