        Verdict

        VILLANELLE finally opened her account when scoring over track and trip and Andrea Atzeni keeps the winning partnership intact. Sir Canford placed yet again when third at Chepstow while Teemlucky went close at Musselburgh before folding tamely at Bath earlier in the week. Soramond won here last summer and scored over hurdles in May while Silent Partner makes his handicap debut in first-time cheekpieces.
