Verdict
Some wonderfully bred horses have stood their ground in this interesting maiden event. Give Him Credit is a half-brother to Derby winner Lammtarra and should take all the beating if he is ready for this first public outing. The market should give a good guide to this race so watch out for any moves for Sir Michael Stoute's newcomer Kalaman who is a half-brother to Group 1 winner Kalanisi. The colt with the best racecourse form is Crown Counsel who finished second in a hot Newmarket maiden two weeks ago. It is worrying however that he is also entered in a weak Lingfield maiden tomorrow. Lawrence Of Arabia and Giuliani, although well-bred, look the types who will do better in time and over further.
