          Verdict

          Swynford Welcome appears to be coming back to form and showed she is ready to strike after a close third behind Love Thing in a better heat at Doncaster earlier in the month. College Maid has let her supporters down of late but has slipped to a most favourable mark and will go close if back to the pick of last season's winning form while Ffinnon Gold remians in top form and should give another good account in a tricky contest.
