Verdict

MY QUEENIE has the call on official ratings and should be good enough despite her two career victories coming on fast ground, including one over this C&D. She was never in the hunt when sent to Ascot for a Listed contest last time but her overall form should be good enough. Gifted Girl easily won a Goodwood maiden last summer but hasn't fulfilled expectations though she's been lightly raced and should have scope for better. Crystal Gal won a Listed contest at Haydock last August and has been competing at a high level. She will have needed her run at Newmarket earlier this month and looks a threat providing the ground doesn't become too testing. Russian Rave has five victories to her credit and though none of them have been beyond 7f she was only beaten a short-head in a tough Newbury handicap on heavy ground over this trip in July and would be the selection if the rains arrive.
