Verdict

Mahmood Al Zarooni won this last year with a colt making his second appearance and NOW SPUN can repeat the process. He was very green on his debut at Wolverhampton and hung badly but showed plenty of potential and that should have done him the world of good. Sir Michael Stoute won this in 2009 and his Oasis Dream newcomer Bedouin Invader should also be kept on the right side but Mallory Heights is by Dalakhani out of a Sadler's Wells mare so looks the type to do better in his second season as an entry in the Derby suggests. Motion Lass may prove the pick of the remainder.
