        Verdict

FLASH BETTY’s dam handled give in the ground and Mick Channon’s filly has shown speed in a couple of starts on fast going at Brighton. This is a modest opener and that experience should stand her in good stead today with the booking of De Souza another plus. Sahara Spear followed up a fourth at Beverley with a second at Southwell and Hattie C is likely to improve on a sixth at Salisbury, before which she bolted and unseated Charlie Bishop. Strozzi and Dora Penny are newcomers to note.
