In depth

Verdict

Escobedo failed to build on a promising Ascot debut last year and Richard Hannon also runs the Salisbury third Genuflex, who is more exposed but did win at Windsor last year. Commonsensical followed up a win at Pontefract with a second at Brighton but ZOOKEEPER (NAP) has clearly improved from two to three and was always travelling best out in front when making a winning reappearance at Musselburgh. He’s gone up 6lb for that but could run the finish out of these. Mark Of Respect was third at Wolverhampton when a 33/1 chance but Vino Victrix has more scope.
