Verdict
Confirmed trailblazer Pearl Noir will be hard to beat if getting the run of the race which means blasting out and trying to make all. His yard has been in good form in recent weeks and he should prove competitive off this mark. Burtonwood has performed creditably here in the past and seems sure to be in the mix once again but MIGHTY ZIP is taken to reverse placings with Pearl Noir on their Ripon running in May as he's slightly better off at the weights and has struck a rich vein of form lately. Hopefully he can cut down the Dixon inmate late on and add to his recent tally. He does have conditions to suit. Entertaining Ben has claims too if forgiven a low-key run latest.
