Verdict
Maestro Mac would be the one to beat at his best but things seem to have gone rather awry of late, hence the drop into this grade. Sir Jack landed a course and distance seller two starts back and has since gone well returned to handicap company. He looks a leading contender with Jim Crowley booked. However, it may be worth siding with IL SICARIO who has been performing quite solidly in fair three-year-old handicap company for Mark Johnston. The concern is that he takes a major rise in distance but he should prove tough to beat if staying the additional quarter mile. In contrast, Star Glitter drops in trip and also sports a first-time visor and cannot be discounted.
