In depth

Verdict

Filament Of Gold and Grams And Ounces arrive as last-time winners but, quite remarkably, the former is having his first run away from Wolverhampton since September 2015. Hollie Doyle is worth every pound of her allowance but it is impossible to accurately assess how the Brotherton inmate will perform returned to Turf. Grams And Ounces and Lady Lunchalot came home one-two at Chepstow but that was on soft ground and the pair face very different conditions now. Petrify and Golden Muscade are closely matched on previous running here but POWERED has his conditions and trip, continues to perform consistently and Katherine Glenister takes off a valuable 7lb. This could be his day after a series of placed efforts.
