Verdict
Channahrlie, Zafarabad and Prokofiev are the principles in this handicap chase and the tentative vote is given to the Jonjo O'Neill gelding Prokofiev. The selection was useful over hurdles and has so far been unable to transfer that form consistently over the bigger obstacles. He has been pulled-up on each of his last three starts and is something of an enigma, but on his best form he would be hard to beat and we will giver him one more chance. Channahrlie rates the main danger as this gelding ran well when finishing second behind Desailly at Newbury last time. He is game and consistent and he will most likely be the one to profit if the selection once again lets his supporters down. Zafarabad disappointed behind Channahrlie last time and it is a long time since his last win so he looks opposable once again. Jimmy Tennis fell last time but had previous been running well, while Atlastaboy is another that can't be ruled out in a competitive event, but for the winner we return to Prokofiev.
