Verdict
TAWAABB is the strong vote in the opener and is taken to win second time around at the expense of State Fair and George Baker. The selection caught the eye when finishing second to Crown on his debut at Windsor earlier in the month. Even though he was a beaten favourite that day he ran with plenty of encouragement and with further improvement still to come he will be difficult to oppose. State Fair ran well enough when finishing fifth of fourteen in an above average maiden at Newbury on his debut and should improve for the experience. George Baker is not only trained by George Baker but is ridden by George Baker which is unique in itself and something that has never happened in the history of racing. However he shaped with little encouragement on his debut over course and distance last month and will need to improve to make history here. Tawaabb looks the form pick on paper and is nailed on to break his maiden tag on his second attempt.
