        Verdict

        Michael Jarvis's Bayhirr catches the eye here in a race that includes quite a number of interesting newcomers, the best of which might prove to be Choir Leader. The selection could well make experience pay here as he was unlucky in running when a staying-on third at Newmarket last time, form that can be rated as reasonable. He is also from a winning family and, with Frankie Dettori booked, should go well in race where the market should tell us a great deal. Sir Michael Stoute's Talawandi is related to winners and Ed Dunlop's Sunset Mirage should show in a better light at this type of trip this year and is related to a number of winners. John Dunlop's Race The Ace is certainly bred for this trip and further, so has to be considered if the market speaks in his favour, while Henry Cecil's Nunki, Luca Cumani's expensive purchase Helm, and Choir Leader, a Sadler's Wells half-brother to, among others, Chorist, all have to be on your list of possibles for this contest. Atlantic Waltz might also attract some interest given that his dam, the four-time winning sprinter Fascination Waltz, will be well known to many. Overall, though, it could pay to side with experience and, as such, Bayhirr gets the nod.
