        Verdict

        It was soft ground at Nottingham when HARSWELL DUKE returned to winning ways. He’s worth sticking with given today’s similar underfoot conditions. Intercessor also won at Nottingham last month though it was fast going when beating Strongbowe. The latter found one too good again subsequently while Hathlool won here during the summer and additional headgear is applied. Maysong will handle the ground and is preferred to Guess.
