In depth

Verdict

A very ordinary mares' handicap and it would be no surprise if top weight LINDSAY'S DREAM proved good enough to get off the mark. She finished a close-up third off this mark on her reappearance at Folkestone and should strip fitter today. It's significant that Gemma Gracey-Davidson prefers her to normal partner Just Beware. Verde Goodwood has gone backwards since running Yvonne Evelyn to half-a-length at Southwell in June, but Flat winner Dane Cottage was a fair third back over hurdles at Bangor. Catawollow was second to White Diamond at Fakenham last time and looks the pick of the remainder.
