Verdict
Dramatic Quest makes a quick reappearance and can prove to be the answer over Allude who has a big absence to overcome, and Looking Down. Dramatic Quest is the only one here with a win to his credit this term, having been successful at Stratford in similar company in October. His two subsequent efforts at Towcester and Chepstow make him the one to beat, especially if he repeats his close second to Fast Mix, with the third horse 14 lengths away. He has not always been the toughest of challengers, but seems in good heart at present and can return to winning ways. Allude would walk this on his form for Charlie Mann, but he has changed stables and has not been seen since chasing home Hors La Loi at Stratford in July 2003. With that in mind he is best watched, while Looking Down has to improve on recent efforts but has won in this grade in the past. Caper has a bit of scope and appears best of the rest, but Dramatic Quest has the best claims overall.
