Verdict
Tagula Blue has been in good form this season and has to be respected but may not want the ground as testing as this and preference is for King's Crest, who gets the vote ahead of Bouquet. The last mentioned would have claims if fit enough for his return but lack of a recent run and any form on ground softer than good has to be of concern so he may be best watched. To Arms is another with no form on this going and is not certain to be suited by it judged by his pedigree, while Charlie Kennet, who will not mind the underfoot conditions has yet to sparkle this season. The vote then goes to John Dunlop's Soufah, who made an encouraging start to his handicap career when a length-and-quarter behind Tagula Blue and he is taken to reverse that form on 4lbs better terms today.
