Verdict
It is hard to get away from One Way Ticket here, and he gets the vote ahead of Polar Kingdom, Hollow Jo, Speedfit Free and Danakim. The selection ran a blinder from out of the handicap to be third in a valuable Kempton handicap on Saturday and, if in the same mood, there is no doubt that he holds very solid chance here given that he remains well weighted on the best of hi form. Polar Kingdom is not badly weighted based on the best of his Turf form of three years ago and, judged on the way he ran behind Moayed last time on Turf, looks to be in good heart and could go well. Super Song has been well beaten in three starts since his Lingfield Turf maiden win. Hollow Jo rattled up a four-timer of handicap wins last summer from a highest mark that is five pounds lower than she races from today, but could yet go well. Caustic Wit has been upped four pounds for his soft ground Folkestone win last time but has seemed better on the all-weather of late. Brantwood ran well last time but rarely scores, Baby Barry is well-weighted on his 2002 form, and, in keeping with a number of his opponents, Toppling has the odd bit of form that might find him some supporters. Speedfit Free has form enough in the past year to stake a claim now that he is fitted with first-time cheekpieces, and Danakim runs under a penalty following a convincing seller win six days ago. Overall, though, we will side with One Way Ticket.
