Verdict
In a fairly modest race, Piste Bleu gets the call over Trusted Mole, Aveiro and Glen Vale Walk. The selection may only have won a seller last time but she remains not too badly weighted on the best of her form of the last year, comes here in good heart and, to be fair, the opposition is not the strongest. Course winner Trusted Mole can be given a chance based on his 12-furlong Ripon win of last April form a two-pound lower mark than today. Aveiro is back to a winning mark based on his Turf form of 2002, and Glen Vale Walk, even though he has won only once in his career, must hold a chance in a race that lacks strength in depth and given that he comes here on the back of some reasonable efforts. Sherzabad wins in his turn but has a few pounds to find on the best of his form to win. Once again, though, we will side with Piste Bleu.
