Verdict
Richard Fahey won this with Space Traveller in 2019, one of five of the last seven to go to the UK. Fev Rover represents the yard this time and she’s back on fast ground for the first time since her excellent third in the 1000 Guineas. Ballydoyle have three entries with Horoscope the choice of Ryan Moore but he hasn’t shown enough at a lower level to suggest he’s Group 2 material. All four of Mac Swiney’s victories, including the 2000 Guineas at the Curragh, have come on ground with plenty of give and conditions are likely to be against him here so the vote goes to MAKER OF KINGS. Ger Lyons’ charge has been in top form all season and only just failed to catch the high-class Japan here in July. Last season’s National Stakes winner Thunder Moon is due a return to form and may prove best of the remainder.
