REALISM would have been expected to have lost his maiden tag by now but his third place, just over four lengths behind Luxembourg in the Group 3 Royal Whip at the Curragh, is way beyond anything achieved by these rivals. His beautifully-bred stable companion Ninja hasn't achieved much but there's still time while Fawkner Park caught the eye with a fine debut at Killarney and will take advantage if the selection doesn't come up to scratch. Rare Middleton was cheaply bought but couldn't have made a much better start than when headed close home in a huge field at the Curragh. Zaniyka has disappointed while Imaginarium, though a half-brother to five winners, faces a tough task on his debut.
