Comfort Zone only just got up to land a Roscommon maiden when long odds-on but wasn't suited by a slowly-run race. An opening mark of 84 isn't lenient but there should be more to come. Magellan Strait also represents the yard having won two of his four starts and beaten just under two lengths by Dancila at Roscommon. The latter had beaten SAFECRACKER over 1m2f here in August but Johnny Murtagh's charge then won over this trip at Gowran and stayed on strongly in a premier handicap at the Curragh. He gets the nod in a very competitive handicap, though Lunar Power followed his Clonmel victory with a fair effort over hurdles and Teed Up scored over timber in the summer and looks on an attractive mark back on the level. Golden Twilight ran a superb race in the lucrative Petingo Handicap here last month so can't be ignored.
