In depth

Verdict

A huge variety of abilities on show here including hurdlers, chasers and even point-to-pointers. After his brilliant success at Royal Ascot on Tuesday, Willie Mullins has two entries in this and both Earls Quarter, runner-up to Caim Hill in a similar race at Wexford, and the chaser Dare To Doubt will be fancied. Adatara has the best recent form on the Flat having run very well in her two recent starts in strong handicaps and her pace should see her in contention while Smithfield is another with decent form on the level, though he has a long absence to overcome. WHATEVER JACKSAYS has improved out of all recognition over timber and has won his last three starts, all tough handicaps, by a combined 45 lengths. He's handed the vote though another useful hurdler, Oilily, looks a big threat with her allowances.
