In depth

Verdict

Ivanovich Gorbatov hasn't won for a very long time but has dropped to such a lowly mark that it wouldn't be a shock to see a revival. TUDOR CITY (NAP) is another on a losing run but his recent second to the well handicapped Wonder Laish at Fairyhouse was an excellent effort and a repeat would see him difficult to beat. Jan Maat is making his handicap debut and could be well in though this looks a stiff test as it does for the four-year-old Star Maker, though the form of his handicap victory over Due Reward at Punchestown could be given a boost by the winner earlier. Jetez was beaten a long way into second at Fairyhouse but Capital Force ran well behind Roaring Bull at Clonmel and is another who could be well treated for his handicap bow.
