In depth

Verdict

Crown Theatre is a progressive chaser and was only caught in the dying strides by Boher Call over the course and distance last month. The winner was receiving almost two stone so it was a very strong performance from Henry De Bromhead's charge. He'll take some beating but again has to concede lumps of weight to THE CONKER CLUB, who is also improving fast. She has got over her jumping problems and, providing the ground doesn't turn too testing, can continue her winning run after scoring at Fairyhouse. The Mooch was well behind Crown Theatre at Wexford but definitely improved on softer ground to gain his first victory over fences at Tramore so can go well along with Jim Will Fix It, whose form figures don't look too inspiring but has generally performed at a higher level.
