Verdict

Noble Pageant has now gone 23 starts over hurdles without winning and was behind SHAZNER at Clonmel last week. He can hardly be trusted to lose his maiden tag and the latter, who was running very well on only his second start over timber, looks the one to be on. Winning point-to-pointer Pals Leg has shown promise in bumpers and on his only start over hurdles while I'Lltelimar King, who easily won a point-to-point at this time a year ago, would be a real threat on his form in a handicap here at Christmas.
