        Verdict

        The three leading all-weather apprentices have ridden too many winners to claim a weight allowance but all have picked up decent rides in this. A step up to 1m4f has seen Wordiness return to form with a double at Wolverhampton last month and Stentorian is capable of winning off his current mark. Beat Route's recent improvement has come over 2m though he's done all his winning over shorter and he's another to consider. However, Caroline Kelly's 5lb claim could make all the difference to THECORNISHCOWBOY. He returned from a two-month lay-off over too short a distance at Kempton last time but won a couple of races over 1m4f here in December and should go very close off today's mark. El Libertador could prove best of the remainder.
