Verdict

Captain Joy, ten times a winner on the all-weather, is 0-21 on Turf though has been placed in better company than this. He's very well handicapped but not one to have faith in on this surface. He had Beach Bar just behind at Dundalk in January and is 3lb better off. Captain Cat hasn't won for a long time but has generally raced in better company and has gradually slipped to a fair mark. Wild As The Wind has more scope than most of these and will have found 7f too sharp at Gowran but the vote goes to KOYBIG. Four times a winner on the all-weather, he's yet to score in 15 starts on Turf but has been getting closer and his narrow defeat at Gowran last time came on very fast ground. The three-year-olds Aiseolas and Overcoming both showed up well in a very strong Navan handicap and are worth monitoring in the market.
