In depth

Verdict

Construct does most of his racing at Dundalk, scoring over 2m there in November, while RUN FOR MARY returns from a long break. However, the latter has won two bumpers, scored over hurdles and twice on the Flat and still seems reasonably treated so gets the nod under the champion jockey. Hook Head battled on strongly to concede Lonar Power 23lb over 1m7f at Leopardstown while Jake Peter has no problems with the trip and some rain would aid his cause. Recent hurdles winner No Thanks looks best of the remainder.
