Verdict

ALLETRIX was runner-up to the brilliant Laurina in this grade at Fairyhouse in January. She then won a competitive handicap at Leopardstown, when Just Janice was unplaced, before finishing second behind Meri Devie in a Listed race at Punchestown. Alighting weakened into third in the latter event having tried to make all the running and looks held. Lackaneen Leader won a maiden and a handicap last month but was easily beaten by Crackerdancer over 2m2f here in December. Moyhenna can only improve on her victory at Punchestown and she holds subsequent Clonmel scorer Countess Cathleen on that run. Court Artist is preferred to Minnies Secret of the others.
