In depth

A small but select field, all five having won last time out. Aurora Moon took advantage of testing conditions to win very easily at Tipperary so further rain would aid her cause while Come September has changed stables since a battling victory over an extended 1m1f at Gowran and hails from an in-form yard. She won't be concerned by the drop in trip as she was always travelling nicely while Kaftan reappeared to catch Kiss For A Jewel close home at Naas though the runner-up has been beaten twice subsequently. Morpho Blue, beaten a short-head by Happen at Leopardstown in October, put a moderate reappearance behind her with a comfortable victory on the same track and there's more to come but the vote goes to SNAPRAECEPS. Joseph O'Brien's Canford Cliffs filly wasn't beaten far by the prolific Basic Law at Gowran in April and overcame greenness to score on the same track a month later.
