In depth

Verdict

Coquine D'aunou finished runner-up on very heavy going at Compeigne in September of last year and made a promising debut for Noel Meade at Clonmel last month. She looks sure to win before too long but may meet her match here in CHAMBORD DU LYS. Willie Mullins' recruit from France was staying on strongly on her debut in a bumper in the summer of last year and she has an outstanding pedigree for jumping so can make a successful debut. Blazes Peg won a point on heavy ground and improved in similar conditions over hurdles at Tramore while The Kings Baby, another who won between the flags, belied her 66/1 SP with a fine run at Navan earlier this month and can make further progress.
