Verdict

PAIROFBROWNEYES won this last year and Page Turner in 2014. The former, who had Killer Crow just over four lengths behind in second a year ago, has continued in excellent form and only just failed to concede Un Beau Roman 8lb at Cheltenham last month. He can take this again as Page Turner was well beaten a year ago and has been badly out of form, though there looks to be plenty of threats at the bottom end of the handicap. Smadynium was bought out of a Hexham seller and has since won twice for Shark Hanlon, only failing to make it three when just failing to concede a stone to Mick The Jiver at Thurles. He's up another 10lb which makes things more difficult. Westerner Point made all and just held on over 2m1f at Cork though has no problems staying this trip but A Decent Excuse has been running better over hurdles. Recent winners After Aspen and Flemenstorm could both be considered if getting a run from their reserve spots.
